【摘要】:ThisPubliclyAvailableSpecificationspecifiesarepresentationofinformationassociatedwiththesurface(marine,highway,rail)transportationofcargoandpersonnel.Itsupportsthefollowing:—definitionofinformationrequiredtobeexchangedinthebuildingandoperationoftransportationequipmentthroughoutitslifecycle(seeFigure1);—definitionofinformationrequiredtobeexchangedinthecommercialoperationoftransportationequipmentandthemovementofcargo(seeFigure2).DesignProductionTechnicaloperation—-CommercialoperationDisposalRegulatoryprocessincludingsafety,environment,andsecurityFigure1—TransportationequipmentlifecycleCargobookingDeliverytocarrierTransportofcargoCustomsclearanceDeliverytoconsigneeRegulatoryprocessincludingportstatecontrol,flagstatecontrolandsecuritycheckingFigure2—CargotransportationprocessThisPubliclyAvailableSpecificationidentifiestheinformationthatmaybeexchangedinboththeproductionandoperationoftheassetsneededinthetransportationprocessaswellastheinformationneededinthecommercialtransportationprocessandtheregulatoryinformationrelatingtoeach.Assetprocurementandoperation,aswellascommercialtransactions,areneededtosupportinternationaltrade.Continuousexchangeofinformationbetweentheequipmentoperatorsandthecommercialoperatorsarepartofthetransportationprocess.Theabovediagramsshowthevariousprocessesandstagesinvolvedwithmaritimeandintermodaltransportationrequiringdataexchange.ThisPubliclyAvailableSpecificationisapplicabletotheimplementationofdatabasesanddatawarehousesthatenabledatasharingamongthevariousparticipantsinthetransportationprocess.ThepurposeoftheDataDictionarydefinitionsistoallowthemappingofdatathatrelatestothebasedefinitions,withmultipleoccurrencesofthedatawithinindustryandgovernmentdatabases.
