【摘要】:ThisclauseofPart1isreplacedbythefollowing.ThisInternationalStandarddealswiththesafetyofelectricbatterychargersforhouseholdandsimilarusehavinganoutputatsafetyextra-lowvoltage,theirratedvoltagebeingnotmorethan250V.Batterychargersnotintendedfornormalhouseholduse,butwhichneverthelessmaybeasourceofdangertothepublic,suchasbatterychargersintendedforuseingarages,shops,lightindustryandonfarms,arewithinthescopeofthisstandard.Asfarasispracticable,thisstandarddealswiththecommonhazardspresentedbyappliancesthatareencounteredbyallpersonsinandaroundthehome.However,ingeneral,itdoesnottakeintoaccount$–persons(includingchildren)whose?physical,sensoryormentalcapabilities;or?lackofexperienceandknowledgepreventsthemfromusingtheappliancesafelywithoutsupervisionorinstruction;–childrenplayingwiththeappliance.
