【摘要】:Thistestmethodisusedtoidentifythepresenceofelasticresponseinabinderandthechangeinelasticresponseattwodifferentstresslevels.Non-recoverablecreepcompliancehasbeenshowntobeanindicatoroftheresistanceofanasphaltbindertopermanentdeformationunderrepeatedload.ThistestmethodisalsousefulasasurrogateforothertestmethodsusedtomeasureelasticityinasphaltbinderssuchasTestMethodD5801(ToughnessandTenacity),TestMethodD6084(ElasticRecovery),andTestMethodD7175(DSRphaseangle).1.1Thistestmethodcoversthedeterminationofpercentrecoveryandnon-recoverablecreepcomplianceofasphaltbindersbymeansofMultipleStressCreepandRecovery(MSCR)testing.TheMSCRtestisconductedusingtheDynamicShearRheometer(DSR)ataspecifiedtemperature.1.2Thisstandardisappropriateforunagedmaterial,materialagedinaccordancewithTestMethodD2872(RTFO),materialagedinaccordancewithPracticeD6521(PAV),andmaterialagedinaccordancewithbothTestMethodD2872andPracticeD6521.Note18212;ThemajorityofdevelopmentworkonthistestmethodwasperformedonmaterialagedinaccordancewithTestMethodD2872(RTFO).1.3Thepercentrecoveryisintendedtoprovideameanstodeterminethepresenceofelasticresponseandstressdependenceofpolymermodifiedandunmodifiedasphaltbinders.1.4ThevaluesstatedinSIunitsaretoberegardedasstandard.Nootherunitsofmeasurementareincludedinthisstandard.1.5Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.
