【摘要】:ThisInternationalStandardgivesminimumspecificationsfortheimagequalityandlegibilityofdisplayscontainingdynamic(changeable)visualinformationpresentedtothedriverofaroadvehiclebyon-boardtransportinformationandcontrolsystems(TICS)usedwhilethevehicleisinmotion.Thesespecificationsareintendedtobeindependentofdisplaytechnologies,whiletestmethodsandmeasurementsforassessingcompliancewiththemhavebeenincludedwherenecessary.ThisInternationalStandardisapplicabletomainlyperceptual,andsomebasiccognitive,componentsofthevisualinformation:theseincludecharacterlegibilityandcolourrecognition.Itisnotapplicabletootherfactorsaffectingperformanceandcomfortsuchascoding,formatanddialoguecharacteristics,ortodisplaysusing—superimposedinformationontheexternalfield(e.g.head-updisplays),—pictorialimages(e.g.closed-circuitTVforreversing),—mapsandtopographicrepresentations(e.g.thoseforsettingnavigationsystems),or—staticinformation(e.g.controllabels,telltales).
