【摘要】:ThisEuropeanstandardappliestomachinesthataredesignedspecificallytocut,splitorpeelblockfoamstocommerciallyrequiredshapes,usingasingleordoublecut.Allhazardslistedinclause4arecoveredbythisdocument.Cuttingofblockfoamsmaybeby:--verticalcutting;--horizontalcutting;--inclinedcutting;--transversecutting;--contourcutting;or--acombinationoftheabove.Thematerialtobecutmaybesupportedortransportedby:--afixedtable;--ashuttletable;--aconveyor;--aturntable;--rollers;--mandrel;or--acombinationoftheabove.Cuttingcanbeeithermanualorautomatic.Cuttingtoolscanbe:--smooth-edgedortoothedbandknives;--cuttingwires.Movementofthecuttingtoolcanbeeitheroscillatingorcontinuousinonedirection.ThisEuropeanStandarddoesnotapplyto:--laserandwaterjetcutting;--hotwirecutting;--wood,metalandfoodcuttingmachines.Thesafetyrequirementsfortheadditionalhazardsarisingfromtheinteractionbetweenbandknifecuttingmachinesandancillaryequipment,especiallyloadingandunloadingdevices,arespecified.Thesafetyrequirementsfortheancillaryequipmentitselfarenotspecified.ThisEuropeanStandardcoversmachinesusedforcuttingplasticsandrubberhavingacellularorcompactstructure.However,itmayalsobeappliedwhenthesemachinesareusedforcuttingothermaterials,forexampletextiles,fibresandmineralwool,ifcuttingthesematerialsdoesnotcreateadditionalhazards.ThisdocumentisnotapplicabletobandknifecuttingmachinesmanufacturedbeforethedateofitspublicationasanEN.
